Landed at Changi Airport just after 4am. A lovely lady at immigration gave us lollies.
Caught a taxi to our hotel - Holiday Inn Park View. Got in at 5am and all went to sleep.
Woke at 8.20am and ordered breakfast - the kids had French Toast.
We then went for a walk, and got lost trying to find the park that we had a view of! Returned to the Hotel to ask for directions, and discovered that Orchard Road was right behind the Hotel. So we wandered off in that direction, bought some Strawberry Ice, and caught the Number 65 Bus to the World Trade Centre, but ended up in Little India. (apparently we caught the wrong Number 65 bus, the one that goes the opposite direction). Had to laugh at ourselves; The adventure is fun but we're getting a little disoriented. So we caught a taxi to the cable car station, and Mike and Jake had a ride to Mount Faber:

So the girls caught a taxi up to Mount Faber, and we admired the carp ponds there:
Then we went back to the Hotel for another nap. In the afternoon we did some last minute shopping - Kate bought a watch and Jake bought a Beetle fob-watch before sitting around the roof-top pool.
Another taxi to the Airport. Checked-in OK, then spent a long 4½ hours in the Qantas Club lounge before boarding QF15 at 11pm. Unfortunately the take-off was delayed until 12.45am
